When you walk into Georgie’s Diner, it feels as if you’ve time traveled back to a 1960’s malt shop.
Until they invent an actual time machine, having lunch at Georgie’s Diner is the next best thing. From a distance, the glittering silver facade and neon red glow of this classic 1960’s malt shop beckons to you like a beautiful apparition.
What I believe makes Georgie’s Diner so special is their friendly and knowledgeable staff. My server Melissa was awesome and super friendly. She helped me navigate through the menu and she recommended their very best dishes from breakfast to lunch. She was wonderfully thorough. You could tell she was passionate about Georgie’s food and genuinely cared about what she was recommending.
Melissa’s recommendations led me to their “special of the day” which was a Philly Cheese Steak with provolone, sauteed onions and mushrooms and homemade sweet datil sauce on a soft, white sub roll. It was delicious. The best part about it was the datil sauce, adding a Florida twist to a beloved comfort food favorite. Her recommendation was completely satisfying. Thank you again, Melissa!
Georgie’s Diner has a laid-back and comfortable atmosphere. The staff and owners treat you like family. Georgie himself came over to our table to personally greet us and make sure we were enjoying our experience at his diner.
You’ll leave Georgie’s Diner feeling full and satisfied, like you just sat down and enjoyed a meal with your friends and family.
Smiles all around at Georgie’s.
